Have a great blog that hasn’t received much love lately? Lucky for you, The Closet Entrepreneur is now accepting guest posts from bloggers! Here’s how it works, you contribute a kick a$$ blog post written for The Closet Entrepreneur, and in return you get some link love from this site. Here are some applicable topics you can write about:

  • Advice to help start or bootstrap a business
  • Productivity and time saving tips and advice
  • Intellectual property and trademarking advice
  • Branding, marketing, advertising tips
  • Financial advice
  • Presentation and communication tips
  • MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook – tips and advice
  • iWork – Pages, Keynote, Numbers – tips and advice
  • Personal development tips and advice

What if I don’t have anything business related to contribute?

There’s no need to worry, this website aims to provide productivity advice, business resources, and life tips to help out budding entrepreneurs. The world of entrepreneurship encompasses many different disciplines, so there is no limit to the kinds of things that an up-and-coming entrepreneur can make use of. If you have an idea for a post and are unsure if it can be of use, then feel free to send me a short draft and I will let you know what I think.

So what’s the catch?

There’s no catch, but there are some rules that all guest posts should adhere to and here they are:

  1. The article must be your own; it should be original and not representative of someone else’s work.
  2. Your article should only link to credible and established sources – absolutely no links to spam or questionable sites!
  3. You are allowed only ONE link to your website in the body of the article. You will be allowed a second link to your website in the closing paragraph (see rule #8 below for more info).
  4. The article should not be a repeat of an article that you have already posted on your website or another site.
  5. Your article should not contain any html formatting unless its a necessary bold, italic, or list item.
  6. You give me permission to correct any misspellings or grammatical mistakes (I’m a stickler about this).
  7. You give me permission to change any pictures or images that you intend on using.
  8. You give me permission to use a standard closing paragraph which goes a little something like this: “Written for The Closet Entrepreneur by John Smith, author of the yoursitenamehere.com, a blog about… insert your blog’s tag line or short background here“.

Ultimately, I will have the final say as to whether or not your post fits within the spirit of this blog. Yet if everything is kosher, then you’ll have a post and a link to your site on The Closet Entrepreneur for all to see! Again, if you you have an idea for a post and are unsure if it fits the above criteria, then feel free to send me a short draft and I will let you know what I think.

All articles should be submitted to tomas[at]theclosetentrepreneur[dot]com (alternatively, you can Click Here to use the contact form)

Why can’t I just link to your blog in exchange for a link to my blog?

I’m not a fan of link swapping, all links that appear on this blog are blogs that have stood the test of time in my feed reader while providing great and useful content. With that said, only link to this blog if you truly feel that it is a valuable resource that your intended audience can benefit from, capiche?

So, what are you waiting for? If you’ve got something to share, email me at tomas[at]theclosetentrepreneur[dot]com or Click Here to use the contact form!

Sincerely,
The Closet Entrepreneur
