Have a great blog and seeking opportunities to advertise and promote it on The Closet Entrepreneur? Here’s the easiest and fastest way to do it (please see my note at the end about link exchanges)…
If you want a link to your site from The Closet Entrepreneur, then email me a draft of your tips or advice that a closet entrepreneur can make use of. Topics may include anything related to starting and growing a business, increasing your productivity, useful business resources, tips and advice on branding-marketing-advertising, finance advice, presentation tips, Microsoft Office tips (Excel-PowerPoint-Word), iWork tips (Pages-Keynote-Numbers), et cetera. All I ask is that your article adheres to these 8 simple rules:
- The article must be your own; it should be original and not representative of someone else’s work.
- Your article should only link to credible and established sources and websites — no links to spam or questionable websites are allowed!
- You are allowed only ONE link to your website in the body of the article. You will be allowed another link to your website in the closing paragraph (see rule #8 below).
- The article should not be a repeat of an article that you have already posted on your website or another site.
- Your article should not contain any html formatting unless its a necessary bold, italic, or list item.
- You give me permission to correct any misspellings or grammatical mistakes.
- You give me permission to change any pictures or images that you intend on using.
- You give me permission to use a standard closing paragraph which goes a little something like this: Written for The Closet Entrepreneur by John Smith, author of the yoursitename.com, a blog about (insert your blog’s tag line or short background here).
In the end, I will have final say as to whether or not your post fits within the spirit of this blog. If you’re unsure of whether or not your article fits this criteria, feel free to send me a draft or outline and I will be more than happy to let you know what I think. Please do not waste your time on writing a post if you’re unsure if it will adhere to the rules I’ve set above. Ultimately if everything is kosher, then you’ll have a post and a link to your site on The Closet Entrepreneur for all to see!
All articles should be sent to tomas[at]theclosetentrepreneur[dot]com (alternatively, you can Click Here to use the contact form).
Sincerely,
The Closet Entrepreneur
**About link exchanges: I’m not a fan of link swapping, all links that I have posted to this blog are blogs that have stood the test of time in my feed reader while providing great and useful content. With that said, please refrain from adding a link to The Closet Entrepreneur on your blog in exchange for a link on this blog. Only add a link to this blog if you truly feel that it is a valuable resource that you and your intended audience can benefit from.
