Contributing to The Closet Entrepreneur…

Ultimately, I’m looking for a genuine and honest voice, as well as unique content and tips that can offer readers something they can’t find elsewhere.

Also, the most successful articles on this blog were written from the heart, when the time was right — I gain nothing from this blog, it’s simply a creative outlet for me, and that’s the spirit I would like to maintain when it comes to guest posts.

With that said, I would be happy to take a look at your draft, outline, or completed article. Please keep in mind that I’m picky about potential guest posts, and ask that they adhere to the following rules:

  1. The article must be your own, and must actually be written by YOU.
  2. The article should be original and not representative of someone else’s work.
  3. The article should not be a repeat or remix of a previous article you wrote.
  4. Your article should link to credible sources/sites. DO NOT use links to help others gain favorable search results for keywords.
  5. Your article should not contain html formatting unless it’s necessary.
  6. You give me permission to correct misspellings and grammatical mistakes.
  7. You give me permission to change pictures/images that you intend on using.
  8. Please limit links to your personal website to your byline (see the next rule).
  9. You give me permission to use a standard byline at the start or end of your article that looks a little something like this: Written for The Closet Entrepreneur by John Smith, author of the yoursitename.com, a blog about common names.

If you’re still interested, feel free to send something over and I’ll be more than happy to take a look. If you haven’t received a response within 72 hours, then it likely means that the article didn’t fit the spirit of this blog.

If everything is good to go, then you’ll receive an email from me with additional information, and ultimately a guest post on The Closet Entrepreneur for all to see.

Articles can be sent to tomas[at]theclosetentrepreneur.com.

Sincerely,
The Closet Entrepreneur
