@Samina: The dolls are from Japan and are known as the Gloomy Bear. I’m pretty sure there are online stores that you can get them from – I would recommend doing some searches on Google and eBay. Here’s the English version of the Gloomy Bear website: http://www.gloomybear.net/index_en.php
