Extreme Cubicle Makeover
Sabbatical is a time for hard working men and women to step out of the workplace and indulge in some much needed rest and relaxation. It is also a time for their loving co-workers to show their appreciation through cubicle makeovers such as these!
![]() This was sent to me by Nilit (Chandler Main Campus) and is my favorite so far. There are around 6 additional photos (not shown) with close-ups of various items and trust me, nothing was spared. Every inch of this cubicle, from the lanyard to the markers, were covered in glorious Aluminum Foil. The only things that were spared were the trash and recycle bin which most likely were left untouched just in case the owner opts to remodel in the future and upgrade to Saran wrap. |
![]() This cubicle makeover is reminiscent of a contemporary Andy Warhol piece. What it lacks in creativity, it makes up for in sheer volume and disdain. At the least, this engineer will be happy to find that he will not have to make those long and arduous trips to the water fountain anytime soon. My only gripe is that they should have included a bedpan or package of Depends undergarments for the ultimate in cubicle convenience. |
![]() Unfortunately, these are all the pictures I have at the moment. If you have any links to some cool cubicle makeovers, feel free to share them via a comment! Sincerely, |

I took the plunge and retrofitted my cubicle with an extreme makeover in red mahogany. Take a look and let me know what you think!

The funny part is, I could code a zillion lines of code and launch websites that make millions (like I did on the Yahoo! sports shop project)… and get no attention at all. But I dress up my cubicle and voila! 1,142% growth in hits on my blog.
Funny… and backwards 🙂
I anticipate doing a tin foil cubicle (to someone else naturally) in my future… Very funny.
I really enjoy your blog.
